Introduction

The IEEE DySPAN 2017 conference will be held in Baltimore, MD, USA, March 6-9, 2017. In addition to the main conference program, the DySPAN17 will include a poster session which is aimed at showcasing work in progress. This is an opportunity to present and discuss ongoing work in an informal setting during the conference. The topics of interest are the same as in the main call for papers of DySPAN17. Although anyone can submit a poster, preference will be given to posters where the primary contribution is from one or more students. At the conference, student posters must be presented by a student. The poster papers should describe original and unpublished work and should not be under review for any other conference or journal.

Poster Format

Your posters should be A0 paper size to which you can affix visually appealing material that describes your research. You can utilize the poster space in a way that most efficiently communicates your research problem, techniques, results, and what is novel and important about your work. The conference setup can accommodate both vertical and horizontal posters.

Submission

Authors should submit a poster abstract that explains the main contribution of their work. In addition, it should describe the particular problem being addressed, what makes this problem interesting or important, and what your approach is to the problem. The maximum length of the abstract is 2 pages in the same IEEE format as the full conference papers. Optional: If already available, the poster may be made available via a URL in the references section of the poster abstract.

The DySPAN 2017 TPC and Poster Committee will select the most innovative and thought-provoking posters for presentation. The poster papers will be reviewed as rigorously and are expected to have high quality just like full papers. The main difference is that poster session provides more interactive way to present work, and is particularly well suited for work-in-progress type of discussions.
